
Nick Carter
Founder and Senior Learning Partner
Nick Carter is a senior learning and human resource leader. Educated to master's level Nick is an award-winning people specialist, with extensive experience working within complex Human Resource management settings such as construction, NHS, higher education, and defence. Nick is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (FCIPD) and Higher Education Authority (FHEA) with extensive operational and project management experience in improving services both as a senior NHS manager and within the Royal Air Force as a senior officer.
Nick has been privileged to lead Human Resource change and workforce redesign across the NHS, and Royal Air Force (RAF), influencing key stakeholders including NHS Executives, senior military officers and ministers of state. He is commended for his specialist skills and experience in leadership and developing effective teams to improve service outcomes in the most cost-effective way.

Nick is passionate about helping people and organisations to thrive. He is a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion, and he is committed to creating a more sustainable and equitable world.
Nick's recent work has included creating a climate change and sustainability learning solution for NHS Wales, developing innovative retention initiatives for NHS staff and introducing a new, performance review process, organisational induction and reward and recognition scheme.
